Aluminium windows

Find your design

  • Thermally broken aluminium windows  use a modern technology where a gap is made between the frames components, joined together using a less conductive material. What does this mean? In practice, this will create a barrier between the cold air outside and the warm air inside. This results in excellent window insulation and tackles the problem with aluminium’s high conductance. When aluminium windows and doors are not thermally broken they will become very hot during the summer and very cold during the winter season.

  • The thermal break is placed within a gap in the structure of the window, in between the inside and outside frames. The most efficient material used is a polyamide plastic or fabric. Steel has often been used in the past due to its poor conduction of heat, however, the thermal conductivity of polyamide is 160 times better than steel.

  • Thermally broken aluminium windows  provide exceptional thermal performance, reducing your energy bills whilst keeping your home well insulated all year round.
